This stunning pretzel cake is a double decker chocolate cake with chocolate frosting & covered in pretzels & then topped off with choco peanut butter balls.

2 Chocolate cakes (Round, Dimensions: 6x3 each)
15 Chocolate peanut butter cranberry balls
3 cups Chocolate buttercream frosting
40 Pretzel rods
Brown ribbon
15 Chocolate squares

Steps:

  • Bake 2 round chocolate cakes.
  • Make a batch of Abeer's chocolate coconut energy balls.
  • After your cakes have cooled, stack them on top of one another and cover them in chocolate buttercream icing.
  • Then, start sticking pretzel rods around your cake. The frosting acts like a glue and holds the pretzels in place.
  • Wrap a brown ribbon near the top and bottom of your cake for extra security.
  • Now, arrange the energy balls on the top of the cake in somewhat of a dome shape. If you like, you can stick them to each other with some melted chocolate so that they don't move around.
  • Place some chocolate chunks in between the energy balls. Enjoy!

  • In a large bowl, toss 1-1/2 cups pretzels with sugar and melted butter. Press into an ungreased 13x9-in. dish., In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping., Spread half of the mixture over pretzel layer. Top with pie filling; spread with remaining cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with remaining pretzels.
