Iced pu-erh tea for hot summer days.

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 L clean water
30 g brown sugar
1 tablespoon rip pu-erh tea
ice cubes for serving

Steps:

  • Boil water in a pot and then add brown sugar. Stir until dissolve.
  • If you prefer, you can wash your pu-erh tea leaves quickly with hot water and transfer the leaves to the pot. Continue cook for 1 minute, turn off the fire and rest for 4-6 minutes with lid covered.
  • Strain the liquid to remove the tealeaves, cool down in room temperature and then refrigerate.
  • Add ice cubes before serving if you prefer.

200 ml of water (filtered)
3-4 grams of puerh tea
1 tsp of honey

Steps:

  • To make Pu-erh tea, use 3-4 grams of this tea per 200 ml of water.
  • Break off a small piece of the pu-erh cake or add the loose leaves to a tea infuser.
  • Add a small amount of water and swirl it around.
  •  Discard this water, along with any impurities it may have eliminated from the leaves.
  • Add hot water to the leaves and allow them to steep for 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove the infuser and add honey or sweetener, if desired, to counter the bitter taste.
