Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- In large bowl, beat shortening and sugars with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs; beat well.
- Stir in cake mix. Add coconut, cereal and oats; stir until well mixed.
- Drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls onto large ungreased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart. Sprinkle top of each with a pinch of sea salt.
- Bake 14 to 16 minutes or until cookies are light golden brown and cracked on top. Cookies will be very soft; cool 10 minutes before removing from cookie sheets. Store in covered container.

PREPARATION DIRECTIONS. Step 1. Beat eggs on medium for 3 minutes until light and airy. Add mix, oil and water, and mix on low for 2 minutes. Pour 1/2 mixture into a two lined 10x15 baking sheets. Bake in at 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Step 2. Turn cake upside down onto a clean towel that has been sprinkled with powdered sugar (prevents the cake from sticking).
