BREAD LIKE STORE BOUGHT RECIPE - FOOD.COM

Bread Like Store Bought Recipe - Food.com image

My husband is allergic to soy and corn, so, I've had to make bread for the last six years. I needed a bread that cut up from the bread machine with the right consistency to make a sandwich to send him to work. Hope you enjoy!

Total Time 10 minutes

Prep Time 10 minutes

Yield 12 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup very hot water
1/4 cup whole milk
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons yeast
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups flour (I use better for bread flour)
1/2 cup potato flakes or 1/2 cup mashed potatoes

Steps:

  • Add ingredients to you bread machine as indicated by it's brand. For mine it's liquids then solids. And bake on the express setting. The longer bread settings will make the bread fall. A short setting makes it's perfect sandwich size.
