This is from a very old Weight Watchers pamphlet for Week One of the diet. I love this milk shake. It's surprisingly thick and tasty.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 cup skim milk or 1 cup 1% low-fat milk
4 ice cubes
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or almond extract) or 1 teaspoon instant coffee
sugar substitute

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in blender.
  • Blend until all ice is crushed and milk shake is thick.
  • It really does become thick.

For variation, try a strawberry-chocolate shake by swapping strawberry milk for the chocolate variety or use 1 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries in the place of the ice.
