Delicious Bread Machine Pizza Dough Recipe | Williams Sonoma image

<p>This homemade bread machine pizza dough recipe couldn't be easier to prepare. Just combine the ingredients in a bread machine and process as directed. The recipe makes enough dough for two 12-inch pizzas. Be sure to use fresh yeast (check the expiration date on the package); otherwise, the dough won't rise properly.</p>

1 cup warm water (105&#176; to 115&#176;F)
2 Tbs. olive oil
1 tsp. salt
3 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1 Tbs. active dry yeast

Steps:

  • <h3><b>Step 1. Combine Water, Olive Oil, Salt, Flour and Yeast</b></h3> In the bread pan of an electric bread machine, combine (in this order) the warm water, olive oil, salt, flour and yeast. Set the machine for Pizza Dough according to the manufacturer's instructions and process through the cycle. &nbsp; <h3><b>Step 2. Punch Down the Dough</b></h3> Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface. Punch down the dough and divide in half. &nbsp; <h3><b>Step 3. Let the Dough Rise</b></h3> Form each half into a ball and cover with a clean kitchen towel. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 40 minutes. &nbsp; <h3><b>Step 4. Roll Out the Dough</b></h3> Roll out as directed in the pizza recipe. Makes two 12-inch rounds. &nbsp;

pancetta, diced 

300 g

new potatoes, thinly sliced

onion, finely diced 

1

red pepper, deseeded and finely diced

carrot, finely diced

1

(415g) tin baked beans 

1

(400g) tin chopped tomatoes

1 tsp.

Dijon mustard 

1 tbsp.

Worcestershire sauce 

1

beef stock cube or stock pot 

1/2 tsp.

salt

2

bay leaves 

Handful chopped parsley 

Crusty bread, to serve 

Steps:

  • Heat a heavy bottomed casserole dish over medium heat. Add oil, sausages and pancetta. Cook for 5-6 minutes until sausages are browned. Add the onion, carrot, pepper  and potato to the pan and cook for a further 5 minutes until softened. Transfer to a slow cooker. Add tin of chopped tomatoes, baked beans and stock cube. Stir in the dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce and bay leaves. Cook on high for four hours, or eight hours on low. Stir in the chopped parsley and salt. Serve with crusty bread.
