THE PERFECT MARGARITA RECIPE | ALLRECIPES
Mastering the margarita requires a certain amount of practice, but once you dial-in your perfect ratio, it's a really easy cocktail to replicate. The classic recipe is 3 parts tequila, 2 parts triple sec, and 1 part freshly squeezed lime juice, and you should probably start off pretty close to that, but my personal favorite proportions are 4-3-2.

Steps:
- Moisten the rim of a glass with a lime wedge. Sprinkle salt onto a plate. Lightly dip the moistened rim into the salt. Place a large ice cube in the glass and freeze the prepared glass until ready to serve.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with fresh ice. Add tequila, triple sec, and lime juice. Cover and shake vigorously until outside of the shaker has frosted. Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with a slice of lime.

All you need is a blender, a strainer, and the right holiday spirit to make these cranberry margaritas. If the bar at your holiday party is usually lined with eggnog and wine, mix it up and add a little color with these fun cranberry margaritas. Your entire holiday guest list will thank you when they realize you're serving margaritas this season. This recipe serves six, so go ahead and multiply it to fit your crowd. - Dip rims of 6 (8-oz.) glasses in 1 Tbsp. cranberry juice; dip rims in sugar to coat. Fill glasses with ice. Process cranberries, tequila, 3/4 cup cranberry juice, lime juice, orange liqueur, and 1/3 cup sugar in a blender 30 seconds. Pour mixture through a fine wire-mesh strainer into a large pitcher. Stir in chilled club soda and orange juice. Pour into prepared glasses. Garnish, if desired.
