Press mixture through a wire-mesh strainer into a medium bowl, using back of a spoon to squeeze out juice; discard pulp. Stir in vanilla and salt. Stir strawberry mixture into cold milk. Chill 1 hour before serving. Refrigerate up to 3 days.
- Spiked Strawberry Milk: Stir in 1/4 cup strawberry liqueur (such as De Kuyper Wild Strawberry) just before serving.

- Freeze 2 small freezer-safe glasses 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, bring strawberries, sugar, and 1 cup water to a boil in a small saucepan; boil 10 minutes or until slightly thickened and reduced. Pour strawberry mixture through a fine wire-mesh strainer into a small bowl, reserving strawberries for another use. Cover syrup, and chill 2 hours.
- Pour 3/4 cup milk and 3 Tbsp. strawberry syrup into each frozen glass, stirring to blend. Refrigerate remaining syrup in an airtight container.
