1/2 kg chicken, skinless
2 tablespoons lime juice
salt
1/2 cup flour
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 cup bread, crumbs
2 eggs, white
oil, for fry
salt

Steps:

  • put chicken in bowl and put lime jice and salt and leave for 1 hour.
  • in pan2-4 tablespoon water add in chicken and cover and cook it for 20 mins on lower heat.
  • now mix flour,salt pepper paprika ,mustard powder and bread crumbs.
  • whisk egg whites with 1 tablespoon water.
  • now steam chicken dip in whites and then flour mix.
  • and fry until chicken trun golden.then serve it.

1 Whole chicken/chicken drumsticks and thighs
1/4 Cup buttermilk
1 Tsp Black pepper powder
Salt (to taste)
6 minced garlic cloves
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup Cornflour
2 tsp Black pepper powder
1 tbsp Chilli Powder
2 tbsp mixed herbs or Italian seasoning
2 cups panko bread crumbs
2 Eggs
1/4 cup Water
Oil (as needed)
Salt (to taste)

Steps:

  • In a bowl, mix buttermilk, minced garlic, pepper and salt together. Immerse the chicken in this marinade and cover it with a plastic wrap. Let this marinade sit for at least 12 hours.
  • In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, cornflour, pepper powder, chilli powder, herbs and salt well. In another bowl, whisk egg and water together. Take panko crumbs in a plate and add mixed herbs and a pinch of salt to it.
  • Dip the marinated chicken in the flour mix, then dip it in the egg and then finally in panko crumbs mixture. Coat the chicken well and carefully put it in the cooker. Cover the pressure cooker and cook for about 1 to 2 whistles.
  • After 2 whistles, turn off the flame and let the cooker stand for 5 minutes. Using a spoon, release the pressure from the cooker and open the lid. Switch on the flame again and fry the chicken until you get a crispy skin; it should take around 8-10 minutes. Once done, drain the chicken on tissue paper to remove excess oil.
  • Drizzle some hot sauce over the chicken for extra spice. Serve hot with mayo-dip and ketchup alongside mac-n-cheese, fries or mashed potatoes.
