Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies Recipe | Allrecipes image

These cookies change flavors if you change the flavor of the pudding and or the flavor of the chips. They are very cake-like in texture.

Ingredients

2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
¾ cup packed light brown sugar
¼ cup white sugar
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant butterscotch pudding mix
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Combine the flour and baking soda. Set aside.
Mix the butter, brown sugar, white sugar, pudding mix, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Add the eggs and mix well. Gradually stir in the flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips and the chopped nuts. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets about 1 inch apart.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 8 to 10 minutes.

3 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons sugar
1-3/4 cups milk, divided
2 cups whipped topping, divided
1 graham cracker crust (9 inches)
1 package (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
Miniature semisweet chocolate chips, optional

Steps:

In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and 1 tablespoon milk until smooth. Fold in 1 cup whipped topping. Spread evenly into crust. , In a small bowl, whisk pudding mix and remaining milk for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Chill until set. , Just before serving, garnish with remaining whipped topping and chocolate chips if desired.
