1 (14-ounce) package barley
1 (16-ounce) package dried red beans
1 (16-ounce) package dried pinto beans
1 (16-ounce) package uncooked lentils
1 (16-ounce) package dried black-eyed peas
1 (16-ounce) package dried black beans
1 (16-ounce) package dried navy pea beans
1 (16-ounce) package dried great Northern beans
1 (16-ounce) package dried green split peas

Steps:

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Store in an airtight container.

Ingredients

green lentils
1 small red beans
1 small white beans
light red kidney beans
pinto beans
split red lentils
black beans
black eye beans
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 chopped onion
2 tablespoons of chopped garlic
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup , 9 bean mix (list above)
28 ounces diced tomatoes
3 large celery ribs

Steps:

Soak bean mix in water. (15mins).
In a LARGE saucepan mix Vegetable oil, onion garlic, and celery.
Saute mix till celery become translucent.
Dry bean mix, and add beans, broth and tomatoes (do not drain tomatoes juices) to the saucepan.
Cook for 2 hours 1/2 stirring about every 20 minutes.

"Combine all of the beans. Divide into 10 2-cup packages. Add a Bay Leaf to each package with the following recipe for 9-Bean soup. 9-Bean Soup: 9-Bean Soup Mix 2 Quarts water 1 lb Smoked Ham 1 lg Onion, chopped 1 clove Garlic, minced salt to taste 16 oz tomatoes, chopped with juice 10 oz can tomatoes with chiles, undrained Rinse soup beans. Place in a large kettle and cover with water 2 inches above the beans. Heat to boiling. Boil gently for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cover. Let stand for 1 hour. (You may soak the beans overnight and skip the boiling). Add the remaining ingredients and heat to boiling. Reduce to simmer. cover and simmer 1 hour and 15 minutes until beans are soft. Skim off foam occasionally. Add water if necessary. Remove bay leaf before serving and season to taste."
