This bread has always been a favorite of mine & my family loves it! This vanilla bread has a good flavor alone, but if you want to give it a little more umph!.. Why not make a nice glaze to go over it? All you need to do is get a small saucepan, add 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of water & 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Put on medium heat until it simmers then take off heat. When cooled, brush the glaze over the bread & enjoy! *Glaze will be thin*

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/2 cup(s) flour
1 1/4 cup(s) sugar
1 1/2 stick(s) butter
4 - eggs
1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
2 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Cream butter & sugar together.
  • Then, add eggs & vanilla extract to the mixture. Stir well.
  • Finally, stir in the flour & baking powder until mixture is completely smooth.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a GREASED bread pan, pour the mixture in & bake for approx. 60-75 mins. (You can use a tooth pick or butter knife to determine readiness of bread)
  • Leave bread in pan to cool for 10-15 mins then move to cooling rack or large plate. Let cool for at least another 5-10 mins. Enjoy!

70 g milk
100 g powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Mix butter and sugar, than add 1 eggs and 1 table spoon of flour (repeat this operation for every egg). Add liquid vanilla and the flour remaining. Melt from bottom to top adding milk. Put in your molde and than in the oven at 180° for 20/25 minutes. For the frost, put together powdered sugar and the little seeds vanilla and a little bit of water.
