5 cups vegetable oil
1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers Original Biscuits (8 Count)
3/4 cup chocolate creamy ready-to-spread frosting (from 16-oz container)
1 tablespoon multicolored candy sprinkles

Steps:

  • In 2-quart heavy saucepan or deep fryer, heat oil to 375°F.
  • Separate dough into 8 biscuits. With 1-inch round cookie cutter, cut hole in center of each biscuit.
  • Fry biscuits, a few at time, so not to overcrowd pan, in hot oil 1 to 1 1/2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Repeat frying with holes.
  • In small microwavable bowl, place frosting. Microwave uncovered on High 20 to 30 seconds or until warmed and thinner consistency.
  • Dip each doughnut halfway into warmed frosting; gently shake off excess. Using fork, drizzle holes with remaining frosting. Sprinkle with candy sprinkles. Serve warm.

1 crust from 1 box (14.1 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Pie Crusts (2 Count)
1 lb packaged glazed cake donut holes
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
Sprinkles

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Place pie crust in a pie plate and crimp the edges as desired.
  • Place the donut holes into the pie plate in a single layer. Press in as many donut holes as possible so the crust is full of donut holes.
  • Whisk together the melted butter, eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Pour over the donut holes.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Cool completely before glazing.
  • To make the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk. Drizzle over the pie.
  • Top with sprinkles, as desired.
