2 1/2 pounds chicken wings, trimmed and separated
1/3 cup soy sauce
3-5 Tbsp mild honey, to taste
3/4 cup water
4 large garlic cloves
2 tsp. fresh or dried ginger

Steps:

  • Put wings in a rectangular baking pan and cook in the oven at 350 degrees F until nicely browned and getting crisp. Mix soy sauce, honey, water, garlic and ginger together in a small bowl and pour over hot wings. Cook until wings are well coated with the sauce. The sauce will become very thick and stick to the wings.

honey

cloves garlic, minced

Juice of 1 lime

2 tbsp.

sesame oil, divided

1 tsp.

Sriracha

1 tbsp.

cornstarch

1 lb.

boneless skinless chicken breasts

Kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Sliced green onions, for garnish

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, lime juice, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, Sriracha, and cornstarch. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, heat remaining tablespoon sesame oil. Add chicken and sear until golden, 4 minutes per side. Pour over glaze and transfer to oven. Bake until chicken is no longer pink, 25 minutes. Heat broiler. Spoon glaze over chicken and broil until caramelized, 2 minutes. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
