1 cup coarsely chopped, packed fresh Italian parsley
2 tsp grated, packed lemon peel
1 clove peeled garlic
½ cup (1 stick) room temperature unsalted butter
1 lb (trumpet-shaped pasta) fiori, or fusilli pasta campanelle

Steps:

  • Finely chop parsley, lemon peel, and garlic in processor. Add butter and process until well blended. Season parsley butter to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Cook pasta in large pot of boiling salted water until just tender but still firm to bite. Drain. Transfer pasta to large serving bowl.
  • Add ½ of parsley butter to pasta; toss to coat. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Serve and enjoy.

2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
2 cup(s) cooked chopped ham
2 large cloves garlic minced
2 1/2 cup(s) low sodium chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon(s) ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon(s) ground cayenne pepper
8 ounce(s) campanelle pasta
1 cup(s) frozen peas
1/4 cup(s) heavy cream
3/4 cup(s) grated freshly grated parmesan cheese
3/4 cup(s) provel ropes
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Heat olive oil in large stockpot over medium heat. Add ham and cook for 1-2 minutes. Turn heat to low and add garlic and cook for additional 1 minute. Add chicken broth, cumin, cayenne pepper and pasta. Bring to a low boil. Cover and simmer on low for 15 minutes.
  • Add peas and cream; cover and cook for additional 2-3 minutes or until campanelle is tender. Remove from heat. Slowly add Parmesan while stirring. Add provel cheese and cover for 5 minutes. Stir to combine. Sauce thickens as it cools.
