This is a favorite on Easter. Everyone kept going back until the ham was gone. They loved this glaze which, by the way, I got from a church member.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 (6 pound) bone-in whole ham
1 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons ginger ale
2 tablespoons dry mustard
⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon, or more to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place ham in a large baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Whisk brown sugar, ginger ale, mustard, and cinnamon together in a bowl; brush over ham. Continue baking ham until the meat pulls away easily from the bone, about 45 more minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

This showstopping, honey-glazed, easy baked ham recipe has a secret. All you need are 4 ingredients and 10 minutes of prep time to create this Easter brunch or Sunday dinner favorite. This easy ham comes together with honey, brown sugar, Dijon Mustard, and of course, a fully cooked smoked bone-in ham. The best part? Ham leftovers are delicious in soups, casseroles and ham sandwiches

Number Of Ingredients 4

6 to 8 lb fully cooked smoked bone-in ham
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 325°F. Place ham on rack in shallow roasting pan. Roast 12 to 16 minutes per pound or until instant-read thermometer inserted in thickest part of ham reads 120°F.
  • Remove ham from oven. Pour drippings from pan. Cut fat surface of ham lightly in uniform diamond shapes.
  • In small bowl, mix honey, brown sugar and Dijon mustard; brush on ham. Roast uncovered about 20 minutes longer or until thermometer reads 135°F. Cover ham with tent of foil; let stand about 10 minutes or until thermometer reads 140°F.
  • Place ham on carving board or platter face down. Using a sharp carving knife, cut in half next to bone.
  • Place boneless side of ham fat side up; cut slices. Cut remaining slices from bone-in portion, cutting away from bone.
