GREEN BEAN BUNDLES RECIPE: HOW TO MAKE IT - TASTE OF HOME
I found this recipe in a rural newspaper years ago and have made it often. The bean bundles are excellent with chicken or beef. Sometimes I'll arrange them around a mound of wild rice to make an appetizing side dish. —Virginia Stadler, Nokesville, Virginia

Steps:
- Cook the beans until crisp-tender. Wrap about 10 beans in each bacon strip; secure with a toothpick. Place on a foil-covered baking sheet. Bake at 400° until bacon is done, 10-15 minutes. , In a skillet, saute onion in butter until tender. Add vinegar, sugar and salt; heat through. Remove bundles to a serving bowl or platter; pour sauce over and serve immediately.

- Preheat oven to 350° and grease a 9"-x-13" baking dish. In a large mixing bowl, stir together soup, milk, soy sauce, pepper, and French's fried onions. Add green beans and toss to combine. Grab small bundles of green beans and wrap with a strip of bacon, placing each in the baking dish snugly, seam side down. Cover with foil and bake until the bacon is fully cooked, 37 to 40 minutes. In a large mixing bowl, stir together soup, milk, soy sauce, pepper, and French's fried onions. Add green beans and toss to combine. Grab small bundles of green beans and wrap with a strip of bacon. Working in batches, place bundles, seam side down, in basket of an Air Fryer. Cook at 375° for 12-13 min, or until bacon is crispy.

- Place beans in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Cook, uncovered, for 8 minutes or until crisp-tender. Meanwhile, in a skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until cooked but not crisp, about 3 minutes. Remove to paper towels. , Drain beans; place about 12 beans on each bacon strip. Wrap bacon around beans and secure with a toothpick. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. , In a small bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, garlic salt and soy sauce; brush over bundles. Bake at 400° for 10-15 minutes or until bacon is crisp.

These are the best green bean bundles I have ever tasted. I make them every Thanksgiving and for parties, everone raves about them. It certainly isn't the healthiest, but is the tastiest! I got the recipe from a friend of a friend-so not sure where it orginated. They are time consuming to make, and you have to plan ahead but I promise you they are well worth it!
