This crab salad is excellent served warm or cold. I make it every time the family gets together. I won an award in a cooking contest with this easy recipe.

Ingredients

½ green bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
3 tablespoons butter
12 ounces imitation crabmeat
1 cup mayonnaise

Steps:

In a medium skillet, saute the green pepper and onion in the butter for 3 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
Stir in imitation crabmeat, and saute for another 3 minutes. Remove from heat, and put mixture into a medium bowl. Stir in mayonnaise. May be served warm or cold.

1 stalk celery, finely chopped
1/4 c. finely chopped red onion
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sour cream
Juice from half a lemon
1 tsp. old bay seasoning
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Ritz crackers, for serving

Steps:

In a large bowl stir together crab, bell pepper, celery, red onion, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, and old bay seasoning. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with crackers.
