Yield 6 cups

Number Of Ingredients 8

8 (.25-ounce) cans dried parsley flakes
5 (.37-ounce) jars dried marjoram leaves
3 (.75-ounce) jars dried whole thyme
3 (.75-ounce) jars dried savory
2 (.49-ounce) jars dried basil leaves
1 (1.3-ounce) jar dried lemon peel
1 teaspoon celery seeds
6 bay leaves, crushed

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl; stir well. Spoon one-fourth of mixture into container of an electric blender; process until coarsely ground. Repeat procedure with remaining herb mixture, processing one-fourth of mixture at a time. Store in airtight jars. Use as a seasoning in gravies, soups, or stews.
