This is so easily put together and quick. I had some pasta and broccoli cheese soup and I came up with this.... Really a wonderful and tasty dish.. You could also add some fresh broccoli and cooked chicken.... I hope you enjoy this as much a our family did.. Also feel free to add more cheese...

1 lb rotini pasta (cooked according to directions)
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans broccoli cheese soup
1/2 cup milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups crushed breadcrumbs
1 cup butter (melted)
salt

Steps:

  • Cook and drain pasta.
  • Mix broccoli cheese soup with milk.
  • Stir in 1 stick of melted butter and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese into soup mix.
  • Gently mix the pasta with the soup mix.
  • Spray baking dish with non stick spray.
  • Pour pasta into baking dish.
  • Top with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Mix bread crumbs with 1 stick of melted butter and place on pasta.
  • Bake 450 for 20 minute or until hot.

A quick to prepare casserole with broccoli and a flavorful cheese sauce. You will love the fact that you might already have all the ingredients needed for this recipe in your house.

1 (8 ounce) package fusilli pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons salt
? cup butter
? cup all-purpose flour
3 cups milk
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon garlic salt
? teaspoon ground nutmeg
? teaspoon dried thyme
1?½ cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1?½ pounds fresh broccoli, cooked
¾ cup shredded Swiss cheese

Steps:

  • In a large pot of boiling salted water cook rigatoni or fusilli pasta with one tablespoon of oil until al dente. Drain.
  • Meanwhile, in a large saucepan melt butter or margarine. Stir in flour and milk and whisk until mixture boils and thickens. Add grated Parmesan cheese, salt, garlic salt, nutmeg, thyme and grated Cheddar cheese and stir until blended.
  • Add cooked broccoli and drained pasta to cheese sauce. Mix well. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with grated Swiss cheese.
  • Bake uncovered at 350 degrees C(175 degrees C) for 20 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
