EASY TACO SALAD RECIPE: HOW TO MAKE IT - TASTE OF HOME

Steps:
- In a skillet, brown ground beef; drain well. Stir in taco seasoning. Combine beef, lettuce, tomatoes, dressing, corn chips and cheese in a large serving bowl; toss well to mix. Serve immediately.

TACO SALAD MEAL PREP - SKINNYTASTE
Steps:
- Brown the turkey in a large skillet breaking it into smaller pieces as it cooks.
- When no longer pink add dry seasoning and mix well.
- Add the onion, pepper, water and tomato sauce and cover.
- Simmer on low for about 20 minutes.
- Divide the meat equally between the 4 meal prep containers.
- Meanwhile, while the meat is cooking, make the dressing: combine the salsa, olive oil and lime juice; transfer to 4 small containers.
- Divide the lettuce in 4 ziplock bags.
- Divide pico de gallo, sour cream or yogurt, if using and cheese in small containers. Cover and refrigerate.
- To serve, remove the lettuce and containers, heat the meat then make a salad by placing the lettuce in a bowl or plate.
- Top with the meat, pico de gallo, cheese and finish with dressing.

- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the meat and cook for 6-7 minutes, breaking it up into small pieces with a wooden spoon. Add 2/3 cup of water and the taco seasoning mix. Stir well to combine. Add the black beans and stir gently to combine. Cook until the beans are warmed through, about 3 minutes. Divide the lettuce among serving bowls. Top with grated cheese, the meat mixture, tomatoes, avocado, red onion, and cilantro. Squeeze a lime half all over each salad, then dollop with sour cream. Add some fresh jalapeño slices or a dash of hot sauce if you like. Serve with tortilla chips.
