Steps:
- Start by creaming the butter and sugar together for 3 minutes, or until smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract, almond extract, and one egg to bowl and stir/mix to incorporate.
- In a separate bowl, stir together the flour and baking powder. Then add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients a little bit at a time. This is a stiff dough, so you might have to move it to your countertop and to knead it to ensure all the flour gets mixed in.
- Unlike many other doughs, it isn’t necessary to chill this one before using it. But if you do want to keep the dough in your fridge for a couple of days, just let it warm up on your countertop for about 10 minutes before working with it.
