Creamy Turkey Casserole Recipe: How to Make It image

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of onion soup, undiluted
5 ounces process cheese (Velveeta), cubed
1/3 cup mayonnaise
3-1/2 to 4 cups shredded cooked turkey
1 package (16 ounces) frozen broccoli florets or cuts, thawed
1-1/2 cups cooked white rice
1-1/2 cups cooked wild rice
1 can (8 ounces) sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 jar (4 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
1-1/2 to 2 cups salad croutons

Steps:

  • Combine the soups, cheese and mayonnaise. Stir in the turkey, broccoli, rice, water chestnuts and mushrooms. , Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes; stir. Sprinkle with croutons. Bake until bubbly, 8-12 minutes longer.

4 c. of leftover prepared stuffing, divided
4 c. of coarsely chopped leftover cooked turkey (about 1 pound)
0.75 c. of Hellmann's or Best Foods real mayonnaise, divided
0.25 c. of whole berry cranberry sauce
2 c. of leftover mashed potatoes
1.5 c. of shredded mozzarella cheese (about 6 oz)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray 8-inch baking dish with no-stick cooking spray. Spoon in 2 cups stuffing, then top with turkey.
  • 2. Combine 1/4 cup mayonnaise with cranberry sauce; evenly spread over turkey.
  • 3. Combine remaining 1/2 cup Mayonnaise, potatoes and cheese in large bowl. Evenly spread on turkey, then top with remaining 2 cups stuffing.
  • 4. Bake 40 minutes or until heated through. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. If desired, garnish with dried cranberries.
  • 5. Note: Also terrific with Hellmann's Light Mayonnaise.
