Easiest Way to Prepare Super Quick Homemade Farali Patra

Number Of Ingredients 14

4-5 Colocassia leaves 45
1/2 cup Water chestnuts flour
1/2 cup sama rice flour
1 tbsp ginger chilli paste
3 tbsp curd
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tsp grated coconut
to taste Salt
1 green chilli chopped
7-8 curry leaves

Steps:

  • Wash and clean Colocassia leaves and remove it's veins.
  • In a bowl mix both flours, curd, ginger chilli paste, salt, sugar and 1 tsp oil.
  • Mix properly. Add water if required and make it idli batter consistency.
  • Turn the leaves back side and apply batter.
  • Put another leaf on it and repeat it up-to four leaves layer.
  • Make a tight close roll out-of it.
  • Steam it for 15-20 minutes.
  • Once cool, cut it in round slices.
  • In a pan add oil, cumin, seasame seeds, chopped chilli and curry leaves.
  • Add steamed Patta. Stir it carefully.
  • Farali Patra is ready to serve.
