1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
2-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour and cinnamon; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until easy to handle. , On a lightly floured surface, roll out to 1/4-in. thickness. Cut with a 2-1/2-in. star-shaped cookie cutter dipped in flour. Place 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. , Bake at 350° for 15-18 minutes or until edges are firm and bottoms of cookies are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.

1/3 cup Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter
1/3 cup Smucker's® Natural Strawberry Fruit Spread
1/3 cup Smucker's® Natural Concord Grape Fruit Spread

Steps:

  • 1. TRIM edges from bread slices using a serrated knife. Make 1 star in center of 3 bread slices by cutting with 1-inch star-shaped cookie cutter.
  • 2. SPREAD peanut butter evenly onto 3 whole bread slices. Spoon jam evenly onto center of peanut butter, spreading gently into a 2-inch circle. Top with cut-out bread slices to make sandwiches.
