Quick Tofu Recipe - Simple Chinese Food image

Tofu is the most common soy product. It is divided into southern and northern tofu. The northern tofu eaten most by the people in the north is the northern tofu. The best taste of northern tofu is brine, which is nutritious and healthy. This tofu can be eaten raw or cooked. Today, I will make a quick tofu. It will be served in a few minutes, and the taste is not bad at all, especially with rice. "

200g tofu
a little shallot
Count pepper
a little Aniseed
Some Cooking oil
3g salt
4g Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Cooked oil
Some ginger

Steps:

  • Cut the tofu into pieces. Be careful not to cut too big, it won’t taste good, too small, it’s easy to break. Put a proper amount of cooking oil in the pot. After the oil is hot, put the pepper and aniseed to fragrant, and then add the chopped green onion. Stir fragrant with ginger.
  • Next, pour in the soy sauce and stir-fry the soy sauce for a fragrant flavor. This step is very important and the key to the flavor of tofu. If you pour the soy sauce directly, it will not be delicious, but will only have the salty taste of soy sauce.
  • Pour in the sliced tofu cubes, don't stir fry too hard. The tofu is soft and easily crumbled. Slowly stir fry.
  • When the tofu is stir-fried until it tastes well, add a proper amount of water.
  • Add salt again, boil and pour over cooked oil.

1 - 2 tsp chili flakes, depending how hot you like it
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp agave syrup
2 tsp mustard seeds
2 tbsp olive oil
