Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour muffin pan or use paper liners. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Add milk and flour mixture. Beat until combined. Stir in blueberries.
- Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 to 30 minutes.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 400°F. Grease bottoms only of 12 regular-size muffin cups with shortening or cooking spray, or line with paper baking cups. In medium bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- In small bowl, beat milk, oil and egg until well blended. Add to flour mixture all at once; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened (batter will be lumpy). Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 1 minute; remove from muffin cups. Serve warm.

- Preheat oven to 350°. In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in applesauce. Combine flour, baking soda and spices; stir into creamed mixture. If desired, fold in nuts. , Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups three-fourths full. Bake until a toothpick comes out clean, 20-25 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks. If desired, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
