Steps:
- Combine marshmallow cream and melted chocolate chips in a mixing bowl.
- Gently fold until thoroughly incorporated.
- Let stand, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
- With your hands, form mixture into bars of desired size and place on cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
- (If mixture is too sticky to handle, it needs more melted chocolate.) Melt dipping chocolate or remaining chocolate chips in microwave for about 2 minutes, stirring every thirty seconds to prevent scorching.
- Dip bars into melted chocolate, and place back on cookie sheet.
- Put in freezer for about 10 minutes, or until chocolate sets.
- Variation: for Snickers bars, soften some caramels and flatten onto on bars before dipping in chocolate.
- Press peanuts into caramel, then harden bars in freezer for 5 minutes.
- Dip in chocolate according to the above instructions.

- Melt butter and chocolate together in a heat-proof bowl set over barely simmering water, stirring occasionally and making sure that the base of the bowl does not touch the water. Set aside to cool down for about 20 mins. Preheat oven to 180ºC (160ºC fan) and lightly grease and line a 20.5cm (8in) square tin with baking parchment. Beat the eggs and sugar together until moussey (about 5 mins). Fold the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture with a large spoon. Sift over the flour and cocoa powder, add a pinch of salt and fold in until combined. Spread half the mixture onto the base of the prepared tin, cover with a layer of Milky Way squares, then spread the remaining mixture over the top and level. Decorate the top with Milky Way stars then bake for 30 minutes (until there is no wobble when you gently shake the tin). Allow to cool completely in the tin before cutting into 16 equal squares.
