1 (14-ounce) package frozen pepper and onion blend
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup water
1 (14-ounce) package frozen meatballs
1 (2.25-ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
1 (4-ounce) can mushrooms stems and pieces, drained
1 (24-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce

Steps:

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, combine pepper and onion blend, garlic, black pepper, and water; cover and cook 8 to 10 minutes, or until onions are translucent. Add frozen meatballs and cook, covered, 5 to 8 minutes, or until heated through.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low and add olives, mushrooms, and sauce; stir mixture and cook, covered, 10 more minutes, or until heated through.

A classic Italian recipe made easy with prepared marinara sauce and frozen Butterball® Italian Style Meatballs.

2 vegetable oil
2½ sliced yellow onions
2 green pepper strips
2 sliced mushrooms
6 garlic, minced
1 (24 oz.) prepared marinara sauce
1 (16 ounces) Butterball® Frozen Dinner Sized Italian Style Turkey Meatballs
2 dried oregano leaves
8 uncooked linguine
1/4 grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oil in large saucepan on medium heat. Cook and stir onions, green pepper, mushrooms and garlic about 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • Stir in marinara sauce and oregano. Bring to boil on medium heat. Stir in meatballs. Return to boil. Reduce heat to simmer; continue cooking 20 minutes or until meatballs are fully cooked (160°F).
  • Meanwhile, cook linguine according to package directions. Place in large serving bowl. Pour marinara with meatballs over pasta. Sprinkle with cheese.

  • 1) In a large bowl, combine together all the ingredients for your meatballs and mix with a fork. Using a small ice cream scoop, form your meatballs and put them on a plate. 2) Preheat a large non stick skillet with high sides over medium high heat, heat the oil until hot.
