1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup packed brown sugar
¼ tsp salt
½ cup cubed butter
15 oz (2 cans) sliced peaches
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup cornstarch
1 cup old-fashioned oats
? cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup all-purpose flour
5 tbsp cubed butter
for serving vanilla ice cream

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in butter with a fork or pastry cutter until crumbly. Spread mixture into a greased 2-quart baking pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes or until light brown.
  • Meanwhile, drain the peaches and reserve juice in a small saucepan. Stir in sugar and cornstarch until smooth. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from the heat; stir in peaches. Pour peach mixture over crust.
  • combine the oats, brown sugar, and flour. Cut in the butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over the filling. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Let stand 5 to 10 minutes to cool slightly then serve in individual bowls. Top each serving with 1 scoop of ice cream. Enjoy!

For the filling:
6 apples
1.5 oz small box raisins
¾ tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp cornstarch
¼ cup honey
For The Topping:
1 cup quick oats
3 tbsp not packed light brown sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
2½ tbps melted butter

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Combine apples, raisins, cinnamon, honey and lemon juice in large bowl.
  • Sprinkle with cornstarch. Toss until fruit is coated.
  • Place fruit in an ungreased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake15 minutes. Remove from the oven.
  • Mix the remaining topping ingredients. Sprinkle over fruit.
  • Bake about 60 minutes or until topping is golden brown and the fruit is tender.

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl mix the peaches, cornstarch, nutmeg, cinnamon, and maple syrup, and set aside. In another large bowl make the crumb topping. Add the brown sugar, oats, flour, and pecans together in the bowl, and mix until combined making sure there are no clumps of flour. Add the butter and using your fingertips massage the butter into the dry mixture until large crumbs are formed. The mixture should not be dry.
