IMITATION CRAB MEAT CRAB CAKE RECIPE BY MILAGROS CRUZ

Steps:
- Combine crabmeat, 1/2 cup of bread crumbs, egg, mayonnaise, mustard, dill, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Shape into 8 equal patties. Place your remaining bread crumbs in a shallow bowl; dip each patty into crumbs to cover. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- In a large skillet coated with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, cook crab cakes over medium heat until browned on both sides.

We fell in love with these easy-to-make crab balls. Super moist and tasty, they are similar to a crab cake, in flavor and texture, but baked instead of fried. Add a squirt of fresh lemon juice and melted butter and you have a lovely appetizer or entree.

Steps:
- Place crab meat in a mixing bowl and pick out any stray shell fragments.
- Add crushed crackers, Old Bay seasoning, and parsley to the crab.
- In a separate bowl, combine egg, mustard, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Whip with a whisk until smooth.
- Pour egg mixture over the crab meat and crackers. Gently mix, careful not to break up large lumps of crab meat.
- Mold into golfball-sized balls and place on a cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Drizzle with melted butter and allow to cool. Serve with saltine crackers. Enjoy delicious baked crab balls!
