This hot dog wrap recipe doesn't use crescent rolls or pizza dough but Bisquick Baking mix! These hot dogs under wrap are great as snacks or as a main dish.

Number Of Ingredients 10

Ingredients

8 of your choice hot dogs
3 cups preferably Bisquick pancake mix
¾ cups add more as needed water
4 oz or preferred cheese, shredded, plus more as needed white cheddar cheese
for dusting all-purpose flour
cooking spray
¼ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup ketchup
¼ cup pickle relish
¼ cup mustard

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a baking sheet with cooking spray and cover with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the pancake mix and water until it forms a dough. Add more water as necessary if the dough is too dry.
Dust the working area with flour, then place the dough and knead. Flatten out to a rectangle. Slice the dough into roughly 2-inch thick strips.
Sprinkle roughly ½ ounce of the cheese per dough, then place the hot dog and wrap the dough around it.
Place rolled hot dogs onto a parchment-covered baking sheet, inches apart from each other. Repeat until you have wrapped 8 hot dogs
Bake for about 10 minutes and then raise the temperature to 375 degrees F. Then, bake for roughly 5 to 10 minutes until golden. The dough should plump while baking.
Serve with desired condiments.
