GRILLED SHRIMP SKEWERS RECIPE: HOW TO MAKE IT
"This recipe is similar to a barbecue shrimp dish I love at a restaurant in Florida," writes Sandy Lutz from North Canton, Ohio. "I serve these grilled shrimp skewers as an entree with brown rice and a salad, but it could work as an appetizer, too."

- In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first eight ingredients; add the shrimp. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 30 minutes. Drain and discard marinade., On two metal or soaked wooden skewers, thread shrimp. Grill, covered, over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side or until shrimp turn pink, turning once.

- In a large baking dish, whisk together the olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, red wine vinegar and brown sugar. Place the steak in the baking dish and turn a few times to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat (about 400˚ to 450˚). Remove the steak from the marinade and pat dry. Sprinkle all over with salt and pepper. Place the steak directly over the flame and cook until a thermometer reads 135˚ in the thickest part (for medium rare), 3 to 5 minutes on each side. Remove from the heat and transfer to a cutting board. Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice against the grain. Serve immediately.

- In a small saucepan, saute garlic in oil for 1-2 minutes over low heat until tender; remove from the heat. Stir in the vinegar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, and basil., Pour 1 cup marinade into a shallow dish; add the meat and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade., Drain and discard marinade. Prepare grill for indirect heat, using a drip pan. Lightly oil the grill rack. , Grill steak, uncovered, over medium heat until browned on each side. Move steak to indirect side of grill, using a drip pan and grill, covered, for 45-50 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°), basting occasionally with marinade.
