- "1. Marinate chicken with ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, and salt and keep it aside for 15 to 20 minutes. 2. In a pan heat some oil and then fry the marinated chicken pieces in it. Once done place them into a bowl. 3. In the same pan add the chopped onion, 1tsp butter, and a bit more oil, and once the onions are cooked add the chopped tomatoes and chopped in half cashew nuts. 4. Add some water and garlic paste, salt, vinegar, sugar, garam masala, and Kashmiri chilli powder. Evenly mix and let it summer for 5-7 minutes. 5. Churn the mixture into a fine puree using a hand mixer. 6. Strain it back into the same pan using a sieve. 7. Add the remainder butter, cream, and kasoori methi and let simmer for 5-7 minutes. 8. Garnish it with cream and kasoori methi. 9. Butter chicken is ready to serve. "
