Easy Microwave Fudge Recipe | Land O’Lakes image

This easy fudge recipe is made without a saucepan or candy thermometer. One bowl and the microwave is all you need to make smooth, creamy fudge.

1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter
1/4 cup milk
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Line 8-inch square pan with aluminum foil, extending foil over edges. Grease foil with butter.
  • Combine butter, milk and chocolate chips in large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave 2-3 minutes or until butter and chocolate chips are melted.
  • Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla; beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until smooth. Spread into prepared pan. Cover; refrigerate 1-1 1/2 hours or until firm. Lift fudge out of pan, using foil ends; cut into squares.

1 teaspoon plus 1 cup butter, divided
2 cups packed brown sugar
1 can (5 ounces) evaporated milk
1 teaspoon maple flavoring
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 cups confectioners' sugar

Steps:

  • Line an 8-in. square pan with foil; grease foil with 1 teaspoon butter., Cube remaining butter. In a large saucepan, combine cubed butter, brown sugar and milk. Bring to a full boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat., Stir in maple flavoring, vanilla and salt. Add confectioners' sugar; beat on medium speed 2 minutes or until smooth. Immediately spread into prepared pan. Cool completely., Using foil, lift fudge out of pan. Remove foil; cut into 1-in. squares. Store in an airtight container.
