JINGJIN DOUSHA BAO RECIPE - SIMPLE CHINESE FOOD

Jingjin Dousha Bao recipe - Simple Chinese Food image

Red bean paste buns are also called dou rong buns, which are wheat buns filled with red bean paste and are a snack of the Han nationality that originated in Beijing and Tianjin. The method of red bean paste filling is to remove the skin of the red adzuki beans, smash and boil, add sugar, and fry them in oil. Put the stuffing into the dough that is rubbed with the noodles and cornstarch, and steam it in a steamer. Serve. The taste is sweet but not greasy, which is unforgettable!

Provided by Moonfall Wu Cry (from Tencent...)

Total Time 30 minutes

Yield 3

Number Of Ingredients 5

300 grams Flour
150 grams water
20 grams Sugar
15 grams oil
3 grams yeast

Steps:

  • Add all the ingredients to the bread maker, knead the dough for 2 procedures, then cover the bread maker and leave it at room temperature for about 30 minutes. I went out because I had something to do, so I put it in the refrigerator for one night, and got up the next morning to warm it up. That's okay.
  • When it is twice as large, you can dip your fingers in flour and insert a hole. If it doesn’t shrink or collapse, it’s fine.
  • Take out the dough and round it
  • Organize into strips
  • Use a spatula to cut into pieces of the same size
  • Take a potion and roll it into a circle with a rolling pin. Thick in the middle, thin on all sides
  • Wrap the bean paste into a round shape, with the mouth facing down, and place it in a steamer covered with a damp cloth
  • Keep a certain distance between the bean paste buns. Stand still for ten minutes. Bring to a boil, steam for about 15 minutes, turn off the heat and simmer for 3 minutes, then open the lid. Breakfast with a bowl of mung bean porridge is really beautiful
