16 oz tomatoes cubed (2 cups)
1/4 cup onion chopped small (1/2 medium)
1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped (3 Tbsp)
2 cloves garlic minced or crushed ~ 3 sec (1 1/2 tsp)
1 jalapeno pepper seeded and chopped fine

Steps:

Place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix well.
Cover bowl with plastic wrap and chill for 4 hours. Serve chilled. Keeps for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.
Heat corn tortillas on a plate in a microwave for 20 seconds or until hot. Serve salsa over a warm tortilla. As desired, top with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, or black olives.
