Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F. Let dough stand at room temperature 10 minutes to soften. Spray 9-inch square pan with cooking spray.
- In large bowl, break up cookie dough. Add 3 oz of the cream cheese, cake mix, 1/2 teaspoon of the vanilla and 1/4 cup of the candy sprinkles; stir until well blended. Press dough into pan.
- Bake 28 to 32 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
- Meanwhile, in medium bowl, beat remaining 3 oz cream cheese, the powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon milk and remaining 1/2 teaspoon vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy. Beat in up to 1 additional teaspoons milk if necessary to make spreadable. Spread evenly over cooled bars. Sprinkle with remaining candy sprinkles. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows.

Drop a tablespoonful or so of dough onto the prepared sheets, leaving an inch between each cookie. Bake for 8-10 minutes until cookie has set but has not yet browned, rotating the pans halfway through the baking. Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool.
