48 to 50 pretzel rings or squares
48 to 50 milk chocolate or striped chocolate kisses
1/4 cup milk chocolate M&M's

Steps:

Place the pretzels on greased baking sheets; place a chocolate kiss in the center of each pretzel. Bake at 275° until chocolate is softened, for 2-3 minutes. Remove from the oven., Place an M&M's candy on each, pressing down slightly so chocolate fills the pretzel holes. Refrigerate until chocolate is firm, 5-10 minutes. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.

Chocolate covered pretzel rods are the perfect combination of sweet and salty. Crisp and salty pretzel rods are dipped in luscious chocolate and topped with festive sprinkles for a fun dessert to suit any occasion.

Ingredients

12 oz dark or bittersweet chocolate
12 oz white chocolate
24 pretzel rods
crushed peppermint candy, for topping
mini M&Ms, for topping
crushed nuts, for topping
sprinkles, for topping

Steps:

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. In a tall microwave-safe glass, microwave the dark chocolate in 30-second intervals at 70% power, stirring in between each interval.
In a second tall microwave-safe glass, microwave the white chocolate in 30-second intervals at 70% power, stirring in between each interval. (See notes.)
Dip a pretzel rod more than ¾ of the way into the melted chocolate.
Let the excess chocolate drip off before placing it on the prepared baking sheet.
Top the chocolate with toppings of your choice. Let the chocolate set at room temperature or in the refrigerator. If you want to drizzle the chocolate rods, drizzle the chocolate rods after they have set.
