Number Of Ingredients 6

2 cups water
2 tablespoon butter
¼ teaspoon salt..
( It will be a soft dough, like play dough)
( It will resemble half moon shape)
After coating with crumbs u can freeze

Steps:

  • Chicken / steak filling 1 cup cubed chicken fillets /steak 1 Tablespoon butter 1 tsp green / red crush chilli (as per your taste) 1 Tbl lemon juice 1 tsp crush garlic 1 tsp ginger garlic 1 tsp lemon pepper or blk pepper ½ tsp jeero pwd ½ tsp dhana pwd salt to taste 1/2 cup finely chopped onions U can add sum green peppers,or grated carrots if u want or even some mix veg 2 Tbl mayonnaise , 2 tbl tomato sauce 1 Tbl mustard sauce (add at end) These are optional, u can add any sauce u like, but not to saucy for moons Cook cubed chicken with all the above. Allow to cool. Add chopped greens (shallot,dhania) Add in mayonnaise and sauces Mix well. For spring rolls u can add some grated cheese as well. This filling can be used for anything .....

This yummy homemade stuffed pasta can be served a la carte or with a sauce. It makes an excellent meal or side dish.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 skinless, boneless chicken breast half
1 onion, chopped
½ cup cubed Cheddar cheese
2?½ cups all-purpose flour
3 eggs
1 cup water
1 egg
1 tablespoon water

Steps:

  • Lightly grease a large skillet and cook chicken until no longer pink; remove and reserve.
  • In a food processor, add onion to puree, then add cheese to puree. Add chicken and puree a final time.
  • In a large bowl, add flour and make a well in the center. Add eggs and mix well; add water and adjust with flour and water as needed. Dough should be elastic, but not sticky.
  • In a small bowl, beat 1 egg and add one tablespoon of water. On a floured surface, roll out dough until it is 1/4 inch thick or almost paper thin. Cut out 2 inch circles and brush with egg and water mixture. Place 1 teaspoon of stuffing in the middle of the circle and fold over. Seal the half moon by crimping the edge.
  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add half moons and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until al dente; drain and serve.

  • Filling : Saute onion and garlic in oil until soft and transparent. Add chicken fillet, Braise until white in color. Add lemon pepper, black pepper, aromat and green masala cook on medium heat. Then add the peppers allow water to burn out. Mix together maziena and milk,when water from chicken has burnt out add milk mixture to chicken and simmer on low until thickened. Allow to cool then add chopped greens. Dough : Add flour, water, salt and butter to a pot on the stove. Mix everything together until it forms a ball and leaves the sides of the pot. Roll out dough then use a circle cutter to cut out. Place one teaspoon filling in the centre of each circle fold over like a half moon. Pinch the edges to seal. Dip each half moon in the milk /egg /Lai (which ever you prefer) Then coat in crumbs. Layer Moons in a single layer on a baking tray, then freeze for 10-15 minutes before storing in a Tupperware. Now freezer suitable. Fry in medium hot oil until golden brown and crisp.
