This is a favorite recipe in our family. I got this from a friend for my mom to make when I was a child. Now I always make it for potlucks where there will be lots of kids there. This salad does not keep well, so be sure to make it the day you are serving.

- In a bowl, whisk the frozen whipped topping with French vanilla pudding mix until smoothly combined. Mix the apples, bananas, and chopped candy bars into the pudding mixture. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

- For each sleigh, pipe glue along sides of 2 candy canes (in wrappers); attach to either side of candy bar to make sleigh runners.
