My family loved the boxed version of this ground beef stroganoff, but we have done away with processed foods. I created this out of necessity, and they don't miss the box at all! It's creamy and delicious!

- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease.
- Combine cornstarch, salt, parsley, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl.
- Pour cornstarch mixture, milk, beef stock, and egg noodles into the skillet of beef. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in sour cream and Parmesan cheese; do not return to a boil.

- In a large skillet, cook beef, mushrooms, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in soup and pepper. Cook until heated through, 2-3 minutes. Reduce heat. Stir in sour cream; cook until heated through. Serve with noodles. If desired, top with chopped fresh parsley.

Remove meat; drain any liquid from pressure cooker. Repeat with remaining ground beef, salt and pepper., Add butter, mushrooms and onions to pressure cooker; saute until onions are tender and mushrooms have released their liquid and are beginning to brown, 6-8 minutes. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Return meat to cooker; add tomato paste and consomme. Press cancel., Lock lid; close pressure-release valve. Adjust to pressure-cook on high for 5 minutes.
