Easy, homemade, mini stuffed bagel balls filled with cream cheese! This copycat Bantam Bagels recipe is made with no yeast, no boiling, no fancy mixer!

1 cup unbleached all purpose flour, whole wheat or gluten-free mix* ((5 oz in weight))
2 teaspoons baking powder (make sure it’s not expired or it won’t rise)
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt (diamond crystal, use less if using table salt or mortons)
1 cup non-fat Greek yogurt (not regular yogurt, it will be too sticky (I recommend Stonyfield))
4 tablespoons 4 ounces, or half package 1/3 less fat cream cheese, cut into 8 cubes
1 egg white (beaten (whole egg works fine too))
optional toppings: everything bagel seasoning, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried garlic flakes, dried onion flakes**

This fan-favorite dough is a quick and easy way to enjoy homemade bagels! Add dry or fresh seasonings to the dough to add a touch of flavor, if desired. Then pair with traditional bagel toppings like scrambled eggs and tomato, lox and cream cheese, or use for pizza bagels, a burger bun, a BLT sandwich, and more.

4 spray(s) Cooking spray
1.333 cup(s) Self-rising flour
1 cup(s) Plain fat free Greek yogurt
1 Tbsp WW Everything bagel seasoning

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350℉. Lightly coat a WW silicone mini bagel pan with nonstick spray.
  • Place flour and yogurt in a medium bowl; stir well with a wooden spoon until just combined and then keep mixing dough in bowl with your hands until smooth, about 1 to 2 minutes (if dough is too sticky to knead, add 1 to 2 more tbsp flour); let dough sit 5 minutes.
  • Divide dough into 6 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and press into one hole of prepared pan to form a bagel shape; repeat with remaining ingredients to form 6 bagels.
  • Lightly coat bagel tops with nonstick spray; sprinkle each with 1/2 tsp seasoning. Bake until lightly browned, about 15 to 20 minutes. Gently remove bagels from pan and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
  • Serving size: 1 bagel
