1 cup honey
¼ cup molasses
3 tablespoons ketchup
⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon paprika
⅛ teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon seasoned salt
1 tablespoon meat tenderizer
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon minced garlic
¼ cup steak sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 ½ cups brown sugar

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, stir together the honey, molasses, ketchup, cinnamon, paprika, ginger, seasoned salt, meat tenderizer, ground black pepper, salt, oregano, garlic, steak sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and brown sugar until well blended.
  • Cover, and refrigerate until ready to use.

Yield about 3-1/2 cups.

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 medium onion, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups fresh or frozen dark sweet cherries, pitted and coarsely chopped
1 cup ketchup
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon Liquid Smoke, optional

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Cook, uncovered, over medium-low heat for 20 minutes or until cherries are tender and sauce is thickened, stirring occasionally.
