SWISS CUBED STEAK CROCKPOT - JUST A PINCH RECIPES
I was skeptical on this one since I was going to be gone so long the day I made it but it was fantastic, even cooking 10 hours. I served with egg noodles and green beans.

- Oooh this is so easy. Just lay your sliced onions at the bottom of the crock pot. Lay cube steaks on top of the onions.
- Pour both cans of tomatoes on top. Then sprinkle your fresh garlic or garlic powder, pepper and Lipton Onion soup mix on top of that. Cook 8 to 10 hours on low. When you are ready to dish up, you may want to drain the meat and take the juice with 1 tsp. of cornstarch and heat up in a pan to make a thicker gravy, then add meat back to the pan.
- Serve over noodles, rice or potatoes. No salt needed to this dish.
SWISS STEAK QUICK AND EASY RECIPE | ALLRECIPES
My mother has been making this Swiss steak for years. It is wonderful, and can be made either on the stove top or -- when you don't have a lot of time but want a hearty meal ready when you come home -- in the crock pot. Serve over a bed of egg noodles or rice with a hunk of thick crusty bread.

- Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Dredge steak strips in flour. Working in batches, place strips in hot oil. Fry until browned on both sides. Remove to a warm platter. When all meat is browned, return meat to Dutch oven, and stir in onions, mushrooms, salt, pepper, gravy mix, and stewed tomatoes. Bring to a boil, then simmer about 30 to 45 minutes.
- About 20 minutes before steak is finished, fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Add pasta, and cook until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes; drain.
- Serve Swiss steak over noodles.

Heat half the oil in a wok, or large frying pan, over a medium heat and fry the salmon, skin-side down, for 3-4 minutes. Turn over and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Transfer to a plate, then flake into large pieces, discarding the skin, and keep warm.
Meanwhile, bring a large pan of water to the boil, add the noodles and cook for 3-4 minutes. Drain, reserving 100ml cooking water.
Heat the remaining oil in the frying pan or wok and add the mixed pepper stir-fry, cooking for 2-3 minutes. Add the peas, most of the spring onions and the garlic. Stir-fry for 2 minutes more before pouring over the teriyaki sauce and the reserved cooking water.
Toss the noodles and salmon with the vegetables, drizzle over the soy sauce and serve garnished with the remaining spring onions and lime wedges.
