- Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, prepare white sauce according to package directions; set aside., Preheat oven to 375°. In a small bowl, combine cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, egg white, basil, garlic powder, pepper and half of the spinach (save remaining spinach for another use). Pour half of the white sauce into a greased 11x7-in. baking dish. , Drain pasta and rinse in cold water; stuff each shell with 2 tablespoons spinach mixture. Arrange over sauce. Top with remaining white sauce. , Cover and bake 25 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

I came up with this trying to duplicate a frozen dinner from my childhood. This is my childrens' most requested dinner. I am sometimes inconsistent though and will add a can of either cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup to the white sauce.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix chopped chicken, egg, ricotta, parsley, 1 1/2 cups mozzarella and 1/2 cup parmesan in bowl and set aside.
- Make white sauce: Melt butter in saucepan and add flour.
- Cook a little, but don't let butter brown.
- Add milk and salt, pepper and 1/2 cup parmesan cheese.
- Cook and stir until thickened.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce in bottom of pan.
- Fill cooled shells with chicken mixture.
- Pour white sauce over shells and drizzle rest of marinara over top.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella over all.
- Cover and bake about 40 minutes.
- Uncover and bake another 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a large bowl, stir together ricotta, Italian cheese, and egg, and season with salt and pepper. Stuff mixture into shells. In a saucepan or skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter. Add cream and bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan and season with pepper. Pour 2/3 of the sauce into an oven-proof skillet or baking dish, then arrange stuffed shells on top of sauce. Spoon remaining sauce over shells and sprinkle with more cheese. Bake until cheese is melted and bubbly, 18 to 20 minutes. Garnish with basil and serve.
