STRAWBERRY JELLO-PRETZEL DESSERT - JUST A PINCH RECIPES
This is a very good dessert if you are looking for something lite.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine the melted butter, sugar and crushed pretzels. Press this mixture into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan and bake for 15 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Prepare jello with frozen strawberries. Put in fridge until almost set.
- Combine pretzels, butter and 3 Tbsp sugar and layer at bottom of glass dish.
- Mix cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and cool whip.
- Layer pretzel base, cream cheese mixture then jello mixture. Let set overnight.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Mix together the pretzels, 4 1/2 tablespoons sugar and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly toasted. Set aside to cool completely.
- In a medium bowl, beat the sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread evenly over the cooled crust. Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, stir together the gelatin mix and boiling water. Mix in frozen strawberries, and stir until thawed. Pour over cream cheese mixture in pan. Refrigerate until completely chilled, at least 1 hour.

Cool on a wire rack. , For filling, in a small bowl, beat whipped topping, cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Spread over pretzel crust. Refrigerate until chilled. , For topping, dissolve gelatin in boiling water in a large bowl. Stir in sweetened strawberries; chill until partially set. Carefully spoon over filling. Chill until firm, 4-6 hours. Cut into squares; if desired, serve with additional whipped topping and pretzels.
