This blue spirulina smoothie bowl is a nutritious breakfast recipe loaded with health-boosting superfoods. It's vegan and gluten-free, ready in 5 minutes.

300 g of Soy Yogurt
1 Bananas
1 tsp of Spirulina
50 g of Jumbo Oat Flakes
20 g of Almonds
100 g of Blueberries
1 tsp of Hemp Seeds (or Flax or Chia)

Steps:

  • Add the banana, yogurt and spirulina to a blender.
  • Blitz the ingredients into a thick, creamy smoothie.
  • Mix the smoothie with oat flakes, and then garnish it with the toppings.

This caffeine-free blue spirulina latte recipe blends up into a creamy, coconutty, Insta-worthy drink that will warm you from the inside out.

Yield Serves 1

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 grams high-quality powdered blue spirulina (roughly 1/2 teaspoon)
1 tablespoon Brain Octane Oil
1 tablespoon coconut butter
1 heaping tablespoon collagen peptides
1 1/2 cups coconut milk
1/4 teaspoon ground Ceylon cinnamon

Steps:

  • In a saucepan on low heat, add coconut milk and gently warm.
  • While coconut milk heats up, add a small amount of the blue spirulina to a glass bowl.
  • When milk is warmed, add a small amount to the bowl and whisk until blue spirulina dissolves.
  • Keep adding more spirulina and more milk little by little. Adding too much of either at a time can cause the spirulina to clump.
  • After milk and spirulina are fully incorporated, add the mixture to a blender along with coconut butter, Brain Octane, and cinnamon. Blend until frothy.
  • Add collagen peptides and blend again on low speed until just combined to avoid damaging delicate proteins.
  • Pour your latte into a mug and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
