Spicy Green Chilli Thecha Recipe | Delicious Recipes image

Number Of Ingredients 7

100 gms Green Chilli
50 gms Garlic cloves
1 tsp Cumin (Jeera)
2 tbsp Oil
to taste Raw Salt
2 tbsp Peanut
1 tsp Lemon juice

Steps:

  • Heat a pan and roast peanut on medium flame. Cool it and remove the skin.
  • In a pan heat one tbsp oil add cumin seeds in it. Now add pieces of green chillies. Stir it. Now add Garlic cloves mix it.
  • Add peanut and raw Salt. Saute for 3-4 mins. on medium flame. Remove from heat and set aside for cool.
  • When it's cool add one tsp Lemon juice, grind it course. Now once again heat oil in a pan and add this course thecha in it and saute it for two minutes.
  • When thecha becomes cool, store it in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. We can store it for one year. Enjoy with Bhakhari, Chapatti, Bread, or in lunch or dinner for an enhanced taste like a pickle.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 (4 ounce) can diced jalapeno peppers
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chile peppers
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
3 cups chopped cooked chicken breast
3 (15 ounce) cans white beans
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Steps:

  • Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Slowly cook and stir the onion until tender. Mix in the garlic, jalapeno, green chile peppers, cumin, oregano and cayenne. Continue to cook and stir the mixture until tender, about 3 minutes. Mix in the chicken broth, chicken and white beans. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove the mixture from heat. Slowly stir in the cheese until melted. Serve warm.
