1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ yellow cake mix
1 cup graham cracker crumbs (14 squares)
1 cup water
1/2 cup sour cream
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 jar (16 to 17 oz) hot fudge or chocolate topping (not chocolate syrup)
1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme
1 cup Betty Crocker™ Whipped fluffy white frosting

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease or spray bottom only of 13x9-inch pan. In large bowl, beat cake mix, cracker crumbs, water, sour cream, oil and eggs with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into pan.
  • Reserve 1/4 cup hot fudge topping. Drop remaining hot fudge topping by generous tablespoonfuls randomly in 12 to 14 mounds onto batter in pan.
  • Bake 40 to 46 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Run knife around side of pan to loosen cake. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
  • In medium bowl, stir together marshmallow creme and frosting. Frost cake with marshmallow frosting. Drop small dollops of reserved hot fudge topping randomly over frosting. Swirl topping through frosting with knife for marbled design. Store loosely covered.

3 milk chocolate candy bars 1.55 oz (43 g) each, broken into squares
1 ⅔ cups (400 mL) devil’s food cake mix from a full pkg or a 9 oz (275 g) pkg
1 egg
1 container 8 oz (250 mL) sour cream
1 bag 10 oz (300 g) regular-size marshmallows or 4 cups (1 L) mini marshmallows
3 whole graham crackers, coarsely chopped

Steps:

  • Place the oven rack in middle of the oven and preheat broiler.  Microwave the chocolate in the 2–cup (500–mL) Silicone Prep Bowl on HIGH 30–60 seconds or until it’s mostly melted. Stir until smooth and set aside.Combine cake mix, egg, and sour cream in the medium Glass Mixing Bowl and mix using the Small Mix ‘N Scraper® until blended. Pour the batter into the Rockcrok® Everyday Pan.Microwave, covered, on HIGH 4–5 minutes or until center of cake is firm and springs back when pressed.Remove pan from microwave; arrange marshmallows in an even layer over cake. Broil 30–60 seconds or until marshmallows are golden brown.Remove from broiler; sprinkle with crackers and drizzle with chocolate.

  • Make cakes: Preheat oven to 350°. Line three 8” cake pans with parchment paper and grease with cooking spray. In a large bowl using a hand mixer (or in the bowl of a stand mixer) beat together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and mix until combined.  In another large bowl, whisk together flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking powder, and salt. Add half the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and beat until just combined. Pour in buttermilk and beat until fully incorporated. Add remaining dry ingredients and mix on low until just combined.  Assemble cake: Dab a small bit of frosting onto your cake plate or serving platter, then place the first layer of cake on top. Spread a thin layer of frosting on top. Microwave marshmallow crème for 20 seconds (to make it easier to spread!) then spread a thin layer of marshmallow crèmeover frosting, leaving a 1/2" border all around to prevent marshmallow crème from oozing out. Repeat layering process, then top with final cake layer. Cover entire cake with frosting, then spread marshmallow crème on top, spreading it all the way to the edges of the cake. (It will naturally drip down!)  Use a kitchen torch to toast the drips along the cake and garnish top of cake with graham cracker crumbs.
